Kerrville Texas Children's Photographer: Modeling Photoshoot

About a month ago I did a modeling photo shoot for this precious  (& sassy) :) little E. I cannot remember how old she is I think maybe 5 or 6 and she was so much fun. She is headed to Walt Disney World for I guess what they call a Modeling competition. I have never done anything like this before. She had to have 100 HEAD SHOT 8x10 prints made to take with her, a Modeling Portfolio (8x10) in size and 100 ZED CARDS.

We did 3 outfit changes to get a variety of image for her to choose from. Some of them were taken around my studio and then we headed down to Louise Hayes Park

here in Kerrville, TX.

3. This session will start around 5:30 or 6:00 PM

Three Year Old photo session ON LOCATION!

This might be one of my favorite sessions! When I was asked to do this session for little 'S' in Fredericksburg, Texas her mom said she and Daddy wanted to be in the pictures too, but not "IN" the pictures! S is turning 3 soon and she wasn't really wanting to be photographed, but I LOVE all of these shots we got!!

She wore the cutest Matilda Jane "Dance Yourself Silly" t-shirt and we tried to get her to dance, but she wasn't too interested.

I love the NATURAL & CANDID feel to this photo session. I always prefer to go ON LOCATION for my photoshoots especially when they are at someones home. The QUILT is the perfect addition to make this personalized to them.

Kerrville Texas Children's Photographer: Dr. Seuss Birthday Party: My 3 year olds

Today I am featuring 4 local businesses (including myself) on the blog!

I (Portraits by Jenn) had the GREATEST privilege of working with Viridian Design Studio and My Delightful Designs to prepare and pull off this FUN Dr. Seuss Birthday Party for my children who are turning 3! The party was hosted at the Comanche Trace pool in Kerrville, TX. Photos taken by Portraits by Jenn.

Merydwen Peschel, with My Delightful Designs prepared a full spread of characters from the Dr. Seuss collection for me to choose from. I started with Thing 1 (my son) and Thing 2 (my daughter) and told her to do whatever after that. She designed the Invitation, Thank You card, Posters for both Hadleigh and Isaac, Gift Tags for the party favor buckets, Stickers for the bubbles, Water bottles and Drink bottles .

Here is an idea of how these things were used at the party!

 

To go with these designs and colors Tricia and Emily with Viridian Design Studio came up with these FABULOUS and "Seussish" decorations!

Fredericksburg Texas Maternity Photographer: Cassell 24 weeks

WOW...I can't believe this Momma to be of 2 is already 6 months along! Isn't she BEAUTIFUL!! If you can recall I have been shooting her belly since she was 13 weeks. She is from Fredericksburg, TX and I love doing this series.

She is about to start her 3rd trimester! This has been so much fun...I am getting super excited to meet this little boy and little girl!
