Ryanne: Kerrville Texas Photographer

Just thought I would post a few images from my 2nd Senior Rep for Tivy High School! Her name is Ryanne (pronounced like Ryan)! I just am in LOVE with her name! Anyway, we had fun shooting and she is just the cutest thing.

Would like to hear your thoughts on the images, what you like and what you don't like.

Tragic Story: Kerrville, TX Photographer

I know as a photographer I should probably not share this story, but I feel like the Lord has totally blessed me over the past few months and ESPECIALLY in this situation.

Friday August 7th I photographed a wedding at the Courthouse for a very special client. It was really beautiful and sweet. We got to use the gazebo out front and she had about 5 or 6 of her friends there. This couple has known each other for a very long time, and just got re-connected over the past year. This is her 2nd marriage I believe and they looked so GREAT and so in LOVE!! He said he let her go once and he IS NOT going to let that happen again!

I called them last week to schedule a viewing session and as I went to edit their images I could not find them ANYWHERE!! They were not on my computer, they were not on ANY of the four memory cards I have. PANIC PANIC PANIC

Erik (who is my husband and my technology guy) was out of town! PANIC PANIC PANIC. So I purchased 2 recovery programs. Both of them DID recover about 40 images or so....NONE of which were the actual ceremony. So Erik called around San Antonio and I took my card to a place that would try to recover the images as well. All three recovered the same images...NONE of the ceremony.

So today I called my bride (of course I have been in TEARS for the last 5 days about this). She was so SWEET to me. She said there is no need to cry. Her friends had taken some snap shots and she is going to get those together for me to edit and make them worthy of printing. She said if we have to she was certain that the judge would come back out and re-enact the ceremony, she would have her dress cleaned and her hair re-done and she still has the flowers b/c they are silk!

THANK YOU LORD!!! She also said that she still wants me to come to the actual wedding in December and she was sure we would have some WONDERFUL images from that. Here are some of the images that I did recover!

New Studio: Kerrville Texas Photographer

As of July 1st I have moved in to a new studio and OUT of my home studio! YIPPPPPEEEEEEE! The address is 615 Earl Garrett. PLEASE come by and check it out. I am so EXCITED about my new space. Anyway here are some images of my studio. It is still a work in progress and I will take suggestions from anyone who is willing to help!!
Where the fabric is hanging right now will eventually be my Viewing Screen where I will project my images to my clients.
I just ordered a corner desk with file cabinets to go where the table is now. As you can see I have NO drawer space to store paperwork, etc. Below is what I ordered. (Not all of it, just the corner desk...and I ordered it in white.) It will have one 2-drawer file cabinet and one 3-drawer file cabinet.

I just gave this large cabinet a new paint job. Now I am not sure what to do. It will be part of my production area where I package images when they come in (See bottom left cubby). I feel like it's kind of plain....HELP!!

Here is where I want to put a couch and a couple of chairs maybe. I already have my eye on a couch at J Wilde's in San Angelo...(anyone ever been in there?) Now I just have to save my pennies to afford one! Maybe a sectional??
There is an awesome store next to me called Eloquence. Sharon does Custom Stationery, Invitations, gifts and so much more. I think we will be a great compliment to one another's business.

Just for fun

Here are some images I took in and around my new studio in Kerrville, TX!! I am so excited about this place and hope to post images of it soon! Kayo is one of my High School Seniors from 2 years ago and she was wanting to do some pics to send to a modeling agency! I have never done this kind of shoot before except for a small child, so I had NO idea what to do or what kind of images to take, and neither did she. So we just did a little bit of everything!!
