Kerrville Texas Children's Photographer: Libby's First Birthday Party November 2011

 

I know I posted the "details" with all the vendors from Libby's First Birthday party,

but I totally forgot to ever post the party pics.

And well, since her 2nd Birthday is coming up in 4 months I was thinking about how fun this party was and how I'm going to miss having all her little friends at her next party since we have moved. 

She was in a Sunday School class with about 9 other babies her age and  now there's only 3 including her and Jaiden. 

I have definitely been a slacker in the Birthday Party department this year. 

I had thought I would do "big" parties for them up through their 5th birthday, and then we ended up moving 4 hours away and I got sick and then pregnant and I just couldn't get it all done. 

I am actually starting to get things together for Libby's 2nd birthday now instead of waiting until about 2 weeks before. 

Hope she loves it. 

 We made these cute owls out of toilet paper rolls and paint.

 The babies got to each take home an owl shirt that their Mom's put together at the party!

I haven't posted anything since March and things have been crazy around here. 

I was in Hobby Lobby shopping for Isaac's birthday party in June.....yes I said JUNE and they already had Christmas decorations up.

How can you just pass over Summer and Fall. 

My FAVORITE time to shoot is in the Fall. 

I'm sad I will be missing the Fall in the Hill Country this year.

So I had this bright idea to get all the babies from Libby's Sunday School Class together 

for a photo in their Halloween Costumes. All these babies were born between November 2010 and June 2011. We are missing one I believe. 

It was quite a feat. 

I knew we wouldn't get everyone to smile or even look at the camera, but it sure does make a FANTASTIC memory!

This was a fast and furious session and everyone was a trooper. 

I met this family when they started coming to our church. 

I had the oldest daughter in my Sunday School Class and in Cubbies. 

What a sweet family.

I am really behind on my blogging since the move. It's been a whirlwind and then I've been sick with bronchitis and pneumonia. PLUS my computer has been freaking out a little. Not sure what's going on. 

Anyhoo....

This is the Sutherlin Family and their daughter's best friend. I took a quick shot of the family for their Christmas card and then we moved on to the girls' Senior Portraits. It was FREEZING cold and EXTREMELY windy this day. But we made it work and plan to do some more in a couple of weeks.

Praying the sun will shine.

Dear Friends,
It is with mixed emotions that I am writing this newsletter, but I feel like this is the easiest way to spread the word to all my clients. 

Some of you know and some of you probably don't know, but Erik and I have accepted a job in small West Texas town called Aspermont. He will be the Senior Pastor at First Baptist Church Aspermont. We will be about 50-60 miles Northwest of Abilene, on the way to Lubbock. The town has about 1200 people in it and Erik will be the only minister on staff. We will live in a parsonage that is right next door to the church.  

Now I know several of you have outstanding Gift Certificates from me. I would like to honor them as best I can so I will be coming back several times over the spring and hope that we can get things done when it's convenient for you. 

PLEASE CONTACT me ASAP if you have an outstanding Gift card so we can discuss these matters.

We are so sad to leave, but so excited for our new adventure and what God has in store for our family. We would covet your prayers as we make these changes and as we try and sell our house. Kerrville has blessed us beyond measure and we will truly miss everyone we have been in contact with over the past 6 1/2 years. I am thankful for each and every one of you and your wonderful families and the opportunity to do something I love. 

I will still send out newsletters of times I will be coming to Kerrville for specials or whatever so that you can have a heads up if you would like me to photograph you/your children/your family. 

As of right now I will be back Feb 29th-March 3 and I am booked the mornings. I will be doing SPRING School portraits at Trinity Baptist Church on March 1st and you are welcome to schedule a time to bring your children to do this at any time. I will probably hang out at CDO until 1 or so depending who schedules. I will also do after school for those who have kids in elementary school.
