Kerrville Texas High School Senior Photographer: Our Lady of the Hills High School

I am really behind on my blogging since the move. It's been a whirlwind and then I've been sick with bronchitis and pneumonia. PLUS my computer has been freaking out a little. Not sure what's going on. 

Anyhoo....

This is the Sutherlin Family and their daughter's best friend. I took a quick shot of the family for their Christmas card and then we moved on to the girls' Senior Portraits. It was FREEZING cold and EXTREMELY windy this day. But we made it work and plan to do some more in a couple of weeks.

Praying the sun will shine.

Tawny and I were always mistaken for twins when we were young. The lunch ladies in the cafeteria would always ask us. We don't talk every day, or every week...sometimes we've gone months without talking. BUT every time we do talk, it's like we never missed a beat! LOVE YOU FRIEND!! HENCE, my thought for this mini session! You will never get these moments back, and who knows, MAYBE who they consider to be their best friend NOW will be their best friend in, oh SAY....TWENTY-THREE years!!  Meet Taylor

High School Senior at Tivy High School in Kerrville, TX

Taylor was scheduled to take her pics a couple weeks ago and wouldn't you know it would be cloudy and look like it might rain. 

After MONTHS of no rain. 

We rescheduled for the next week and it was a beautiful day. 

HOT!

But nice and SUNNY.

So every time I shoot in Hunt, TX I pass by this big red barn. 

I always think to myself I would love to shoot in front of that big red barn. 

I know it's private property so I just keep passing it by. 

I was THRILLED when she took me there. 

The first thing Taylor said to me when I met her was

"I'm not very photogenic."

                                                                         WHAT???

I beg to differ. 

She is just beautiful.

                                        I'm jealous. Wish I could pull off the long blonde hair.

...not to mention those EYES!

 We also shot across the street and it was fantastic.

 I'm sure she was probably sweating to death (I know I was)...after

3rd time I made her climb up and down the hill down to the river and back up!

Meet Connie.

Connie is a High School Senior at Tivy High School in Kerrville, TX. 

We also shot her portraits down at Old Ingram Loop in Ingram. 

I am such a loser. 

I was so busy and focused on taking her photo I didn't even bother to ask her about herself. 

How rude was I?

 I don't know how many times I've shot at Old Ingram Loop, and NEVER noticed this brick wall. I love how the vines are growing on it. So glad we saw this spot.

 Doesn't she look great in blue! 

I just loved this dress and the shoes she chose to go with them. 

She has such a beautiful smile!

 So THIS dress was my absolute FAVORITE!

Connie borrowed from one of her cousins. 

Isn't it just GORGEOUS? 

I am so thankful for some GREEN grass to sit in.

 Connie was one of the brave ones getting in the water. 

It's hot outside, but certainly not hot enough for me to get in!
