Kerrville Texas Family Photography: Adoption

This session was an honor to photograph. I love photographing families after their adoption and it is certainly close to my heart.

This family went through a lot to finally get a baby and this one is a perfect addition to their sweet family.  Can you believe he's only 3 months old? :)

The first two times we scheduled their appointment it rained.
This morning was VERY cold, but at least we had sunshine!!

If you are in the process of adopting or have adopted in the past year let me tell you about what I will do for you!

Your session is FREE and you will receive a brag book with all of your images in it.
I am part of an organization called Celebrating Adoption with many other Photographers around the United States.
Then you are able to purchase prints as you want!

Kerrville Texas Newborn Photography: baby boy Tull

I rarely do "FAMILY" newborn photography.
This was such a treat.
What a sweet sweet family.
Makes me hopeful that having 4 or 5 children is "do-able".

Kerrville Texas Newborn Photographer: Baby Brooklyn

 I love photographing newborns.
I think they are becoming my favorite.
It was fun photographing girls the past couple of times.
Last year at this time it was all boys!
I was planning on photographing the birth of this sweet angel but she decided to stay breech.
So mom was intending on having a c-section....which PRAISE THE LORD she didn't have to do.
AN AMAZING BIRTH STORY!
So thankful for this sweet family and for the opportunity to photograph them!

Kerrville Texas Newborn Photographer: Baby Sophie

 Baby Sophie!
This little nugget was born at just 4 pounds and a few ounces. She was not too early, just very tiny.
She belongs to a special family and is the 7th child.
This sweet family is one of our local foster families who have also adopted through the foster care system.
They adopted 4 precious boys and one of them is my sons age and they just love to play together.
I am so excited I got to photograph this tiny little thing.
Just precious.

Fredericksburg Texas Family Photographer

I really loved shooting this session.
Thank you to Rebekah at Beulah's in Fredericksburg for referring the Adams Family to me.
They are just precious.
We shot in Fredericksburg, which I love to do.
Out in the middle of a field and cows mooing in the background.
Baby girl was everywhere....not really at the age to sit and be still...but I don't care.
It does not bother me one bit.
I think that is what is great about this age. Between 1 and 2 years old.
They are curious.
Fascinated by everything.
Explorers.
I rarely capture them looking directly at me.

 What a beautiful family.

Had to shoot a cousin picture and I just think it's the cutest thing.

Kerrville Texas Childrens Photographer: Abby Kate 1 year old

 OH MY GOODNESS!
That is what I have to say about this photo shoot.
AK was the most precious thing.
I think she is actually closer to 18 months or so.
She had this chair in her room and I just think it is the cutest thing ever.
I really love when I get to use props that belong to my clients.
It really makes their photos one of a kind.

We took these old shutters that Mom used for decoration and put this old iron chair in front and brought pillows out from inside.
I LOVE IT!!
Check out the shoes on her little feet.
Those belonged to her momma when she was a baby.
PRICELESS.

 AND....OH MY GOODNESS.
Brought out these old suitcases....which were being used as a SIDE TABLE in her living room!
Can you believe that?
I wish I had that kind of creativity.
You will have to check out her website.
She does staging and re-designing using your own things!
Re-feathered: Shake up your nest!
