Kerrville Texas Children's Photographer: Libby's First Birthday Party November 2011

 

I know I posted the "details" with all the vendors from Libby's First Birthday party,

but I totally forgot to ever post the party pics.

And well, since her 2nd Birthday is coming up in 4 months I was thinking about how fun this party was and how I'm going to miss having all her little friends at her next party since we have moved. 

She was in a Sunday School class with about 9 other babies her age and  now there's only 3 including her and Jaiden. 

I have definitely been a slacker in the Birthday Party department this year. 

I had thought I would do "big" parties for them up through their 5th birthday, and then we ended up moving 4 hours away and I got sick and then pregnant and I just couldn't get it all done. 

I am actually starting to get things together for Libby's 2nd birthday now instead of waiting until about 2 weeks before. 

Hope she loves it. 

 We made these cute owls out of toilet paper rolls and paint.

 The babies got to each take home an owl shirt that their Mom's put together at the party!

In case you were wondering where I have been

So I totally missed out on Santa Portraits this year due to a family emergency. 

HOWEVER, I would like to say HUGE Thank You to 

Viridian Design Studio for my set. 

It was a beautiful outdoor Christmas set, and I may do the same thing next year I love it so much!

These ladies ALL pitched in to help in my time of NEED!! I don't know what I would have done without them! Here are just a few of my favorite Santa Portraits that they shot! I hope every one of you had a MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

 I am so thankful for all of my clients and I hope you all know how much I LOVE my job because of YOU!!

Portraits by Jenn: Wedding 2010

I actually do not photograph many weddings, maybe 2-3 a year (if that). 

However, I was referred by Viridian Design Studio to take pictures of this lovely couple who was having a VERY small intimate wedding at Riven Rock Ranch in Comfort, Texas. It was a warm July evening and the weather was beautiful. They had the ceremony inside at the La Cocina room which is typically held for Rehearsal Dinners. 

It was PERFECT for this wedding. The view there is AMAZING.

I was there a short 2 hours and they had a ceremony, cocktail hour and a BEAUTIFUL dinner at the La Cocina room.

Kerrville Texas Children's Photographer: Dr. Seuss Birthday Party: My 3 year olds

Today I am featuring 4 local businesses (including myself) on the blog!

I (Portraits by Jenn) had the GREATEST privilege of working with Viridian Design Studio and My Delightful Designs to prepare and pull off this FUN Dr. Seuss Birthday Party for my children who are turning 3! The party was hosted at the Comanche Trace pool in Kerrville, TX. Photos taken by Portraits by Jenn.

Merydwen Peschel, with My Delightful Designs prepared a full spread of characters from the Dr. Seuss collection for me to choose from. I started with Thing 1 (my son) and Thing 2 (my daughter) and told her to do whatever after that. She designed the Invitation, Thank You card, Posters for both Hadleigh and Isaac, Gift Tags for the party favor buckets, Stickers for the bubbles, Water bottles and Drink bottles .

Here is an idea of how these things were used at the party!

 

To go with these designs and colors Tricia and Emily with Viridian Design Studio came up with these FABULOUS and "Seussish" decorations!
