I got to photograph the most BEAUTIFUL baby this morning. Baby 'J' is 3 weeks old. She was born on Christmas eve so I just HAD to put her in this Santa "sack" that I found at a little store in Franklin, TN. She didn't like it the first time we tried to put her in it, so we moved on to something else until I wore her out a bit more get this pose! I LOVE IT!

These next two hats were from Pinch Knits on etsy. Aren't they the cutest! She calls this first one a Cheezy Poof and it is so adorable on baby 'J'. I was so excited to use it for the first time today!

Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing Rebekah Parsons and her youngest! He's such a cutie but he was on the move! I think we got some cute ones and even did a few outfit changes. To all my clients of 2009:

This December ended the first year of Portraits by Jenn. Mind you it was not my first year to be a photographer..this has been going on now for about 6 years. But I just want you all to know how GRATEFUL and BLESSED I am to have you as my clients. You made this year a HUGE success and my family is forever grateful. You helped me to make 2 very large purchases that I would not have been able to continue my job without. To my clients of 2009 I am eternally THANKFUL. I am able to stay at home at least ONE full day with my babies and I love every minute of it.....well when they are behaving and playing happily with each other and not screaming and fighting that is. I was also able to move into my VERY OWN PLACE in July which allowed me NOT to become insane! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!

Last Thursday my family and I got in the car to head to Nashville, Tennessee. My husband was attending a Children's Ministers conference at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Hotel .
When he told me about his conference I realized that I also had a conference at the same hotel the week after his. Imaging USA.
This is my first time to attend this event but I have heard lots of good things about it. So we made this trip a work/vacation trip and it has been wonderful. The drive up was a little rough with 2 two year olds, but we made it. It's been 30 degrees or colder all week and today it FINALLY snowed. So here are a few images I wanted to share!

Christmas 2009 Photo Shoot for the Lankford Card

This session lasted all of about 20 minutes...me by myself...with 2 two year olds...which happen to be my own! I think this actually worked out better without having anyone there to help me! They actually cooperated pretty well and even loved on each other a bit! The card was a SUCCESS (thank you Merydwen for designing it). LOVE these shirts I bought on etsy.com. Will try to post a pic of the card tomorrow when I get back to work!
